Democrats may be the evil party, but let’s not kid ourselves — they’re not dumb. I always tell people: they’re evil, not stupid. There’s a method to their madness, and if you understand that, their behavior makes perfect sense.
After more than six weeks of keeping the government shut down, they didn’t suddenly find compassion for struggling Americans. Compassion isn’t exactly a hallmark of a political movement that’s championed ideologies responsible for over 100 million deaths in the last century. No — they changed course because it was politically convenient. It’s all about optics and power.
So what changed this so-called “principled stance” Democrats were clinging to? The election — plain and simple. That’s it. If the shutdown had dragged on before voters went to the polls, some of the radicals in their base might’ve stayed home. Angry voters don’t usually rush out to support the people they’re angry with.
But once the votes were cast and Democrats won the races they expected to win, the coast was clear. The political risk was gone. Suddenly, it was safe to “compromise.” They waited just long enough — about a week — to make it look like they weren’t completely cynical about the timing. But make no mistake, they were. A few days later, the election already felt like old news, and Democrats knew the public’s memory is short. That’s how this game works — calculated, manipulative, and utterly predictable.
And here’s another little detail the media won’t highlight: none of the eight Democrats who voted for this so-called “deal” are up for reelection next year. Not one. They’re either retiring or so far from their next race that they could survive fifteen political lifetimes before facing voters again.
It comes in mens and womens and lets your friends know you're happy to express your views and don't care what anyone thinks! Cheers!

In other words, these weren’t acts of courage — they were calculated sacrifices. Leadership handpicked them to cast just enough votes to end the shutdown while letting the rest of the caucus feign outrage and posture for the cameras.
Let’s be honest — there was never anything real they were fighting for anyway. If Democrats truly cared about Obamacare subsidies, they would’ve fixed them when they had full control of government. But they didn’t. And now they want voters to believe throwing even more taxpayer money at a failed government-run health care system is some kind of moral cause.
Please. They just needed something — any excuse to save face after a shutdown that backfired politically.
All the polls and left-wing media outlets like MSNBC tell Democrats the same thing: their voters want them to “fight.” That’s it — just fight. Never mind what they’re fighting for or against; the details don’t matter. You hear it after every election: “The base wants us to fight.” It’s a slogan, not a strategy — and that’s why Republicans had Democrats boxed in from the start.
This whole shutdown was never about real suffering. No one was actually going to starve, no one was truly in danger. The media, as always, cherry-picked a few panicked voices to create a narrative of chaos, but it never matched reality. The proof? SNAP benefits are still being paid out. Where did all those “people are going hungry” stories go? Exactly.
The Democrats who flipped their votes (except Fetterman, who actually stood his ground) will quietly fade into the background. The progressive establishment won’t bring them up again — because they served their purpose. Like I said before, these people are evil, not stupid.
And if this feels familiar, it should. Remember when Democrats were supposedly this close to nuking the filibuster? The media said only Manchin and Sinema stood in their way. That was a lie. Plenty of Democrats privately opposed killing the filibuster but were too cowardly to say so out loud. Manchin and Sinema took all the heat, gave everyone else political cover, and spared the rest from having to admit where they really stood.
That’s exactly what happened here — a carefully staged act of political theater designed to give the illusion of principle while protecting their own power.
Democrats are evil, not stupid. They know exactly what they’re doing — manipulating the system, the media, and their own base to keep power. Their voters, on the other hand… well, let’s just say they keep falling for the same con over and over again. It’s like watching someone hand their bank account to a Nigerian prince and then act shocked when the money never shows up.
It’d be funny if it weren’t so pathetic — but that’s modern liberal politics in a nutshell.
