Kamala Harris Gave A Comeback Speech – It Went Just As Badly As You’d Expect

Well, that was a short couple of months. Former Vice President Kamala Harris has made her first major public speech since getting blown out by President Donald Trump in November, and if you thought she has changed from her previous persona of semi-drunken word salads, you’d be sadly mistaken. In fact, all of the worst things about Harris’ character traits were on full display during a Wednesday speech in San Francisco.

Harris pointed to a viral video of elephants at the San Diego Zoo huddling together during an earthquake—what she described as a “powerful metaphor”—and urged her fellow Democrats to “find and connect with each other.” She made the remarks at Emerge America’s 20th Anniversary Gala, an organization that trains female Democratic candidates for public office.

“Please allow me, friends, to digress for a moment,” the failed 2024 Democratic nominee said. “Okay, it’s kind of dark in here, but I am going to ask for a show of hands. Who saw that video from a couple of weeks ago? The one of the elephants at the San Diego Zoo during the earthquake. Google it if you have not seen it. So, that scene has been on my mind,” Harris added. “Everybody has been asking what are you thinking about these days. For those who haven’t seen it, here those elephants were, and as soon as they felt the earth shaking beneath their feet, they got in a circle and stood next to each other to protect the most vulnerable. Think about it. What a powerful metaphor.”

Through her trademark cackles, she went on to say that “in the face of crisis,” Democrats should not “scatter.” She added: “Because we know those who try to incite fear are most effective when they divide and conquer. When they separate the herd, when they try to make everyone think they are alone. The instinct has to be to immediately find and connect with each other, and to know that the circle will be stronger,” Harris added.

Well, then. Mind you, Democrats are experts at projection, so her mention of “divide and conquer” is exactly what her party tries to do: Divide us by race, gender, sexual orientation, culture, religion, ethnicity, and a hundred other things. But the reference to the elephants, and the drunk-sounding nature of her voice, are both Classic Kamala. She hasn’t changed a bit, and she’s not gonna.
