FBI Director Kash Patel has just done something that Democrats and their media buddies are incensed about, so it must be the right thing and very good to restore trust in the agency after Joe Autopen Biden and the bros actually running his administration shattered it with overpoliticization against Donald Trump and conservatives According to reports, Patel imposed strict penalties on several FBI agents who were photographed smiling while kneeling to groups of Black Lives Matter (BLM) protestors during the George Floyd riots in 2020.

They certainly didn’t distinguish themselves that day. On June 4, 2020, their duty was to safeguard Washington’s federal buildings and monuments from the thug BLM protesters storming the capital—yet instead, many agents, predominantly women, were photographed kneeling and smiling alongside the crowd. Supporters of the kneel-down point to CNN’s explanation that untrained FBI personnel needed to de-escalate for their own safety. However, the images suggest a deliberate gesture of solidarity with a movement openly rooted in Marxist ideology, rather than a tactical safety maneuver.
Bottom line: The optics for the allegedly ‘neutral’ and ‘non-politicized’ FBI were horrible on that day. And as such, Patel has taken some well-deserved and long overdue actions, mostly “reassigning” these agents to new posts that are widely seen as a huge demotion. Because when you play stupid games, you win stupid prizes. CNN unsurprisingly framed the moves this way: “The targeting of the kneelers is part of a broader effort by the new FBI leaders to make good on promises to root out what President Donald Trump has called ‘woke’ and politicized elements inside the agency.”
The very fact that FBI agents are now referred to as “kneelers” speaks volumes about the agency’s decline and the erosion of its standards. The images from that day don’t exactly counter the perception that the FBI has fully embraced DEI hiring practices—if anything, the prominently featured smiling female agents tell the real story. There was some good that came out of this spectacle, however, CNN added: “But later, after photos emerged, a furious reaction erupted inside the FBI. Some of the agents pictured kneeling were ostracized and personally attacked by their peers, current and former agents said.”
