One of the many traits that make for comparing today’s Democratic Party to Marxists and communists is their use of irony, wording, and hypocrisy to hide what they really are, and that includes a heaping amount of projection and gaslighting: That is, accuse your political opponents of doing the kinds of things that you yourself, as a Democrat, are actually doing. Another fine example of this occurred over the weekend involving one of the largest Democratic governors, J.B. Pritzker of Illinois.
During a speech is what is likely his kick-off to seeking his party’s 2028 presidential nomination, Pritzker called for “mass protests” and “disruption” in an evident attempt to outflank any other prospective candidate in rhetoric targeting the Trump administration, though he and his party have tried to convince Americans in the Trump era that Republicans are the party of disruption and violence.
Speaking at the New Hampshire Democratic Party’s McIntyre-Shaheen 100 Club Dinner on Sunday, Pritzker screeched, “Never before in my life have I called for mass protests, for mobilization, for disruption, but I have now. These Republicans cannot know a moment of peace. They have to understand that we will fight their cruelty with every megaphone and every microphone that we have. We must castigate them on the soapbox and then punish them at the ballot box.”

In what borders on sedition — remember when Democrats accused Trump of ‘seditious incitement’ of the Jan. 6 rioters? — Pritzker has allowed his Trump Derangement Syndrome to control his better judgment, actively calling for what could legitimately be riots and other types of violence just because his party got trounced in November. What’s more, what seems to be lost on this rather portly Democratic governor is that he and most of the rest of his party believe that doubling and tripling down on the left-wing insanity that lost them the White House and House is somehow now a winning strategy.
Well, we have some advice for Gov. Sedition: It isn’t. A majority of Americans voted for Donald J. Trump and his party to do exactly what they’re doing: Sealing the border, mass deportation of illegal aliens and gang members, ‘drill baby drill’ energy policies, fairer trade deals, and bringing back American manufacturing (more than $5 trillion in new investments in the U.S. announced by several companies since Trump took office – so far). But, bottom line is this: Democrats should continue to triple down on what cost them elections, because in doing so, that’ll be fantastic news for Trump, MAGA, and Republicans in general moving forward.
