One of the more head-scratching episodes in recent political history is how a far-left lunatic like Claire McCaskill ever became a U.S. senator from deep red Missouri but through deft politicking — and a really bad mistake by her GOP challenger, then-Rep. Todd Akin — it happened…twice. In 2018 the nightmare ended, however, after she was soundly defeated by then-Missouri Attorney General Josh Hawley, who has turned out to be one of the best MAGA additions to the ‘Uniparty’ Senate.
But that doesn’t mean that McCaskill has gone away. Hardly. These days, she can be seen frequently as a contributor to the most hard-left, ridiculous, racist network on TV — MSNBC — where she spews some of the most clinically insane pabulum you’re ever going to hear. She was at it again on Monday, the anniversary of the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, which she and her fellow insane asylum residents (Democrats) are continuing to push the lie that it was an “insurrection.” During her remarks, McCaskill said she was “bitter” because President-elect Donald Trump never suffered politically (or otherwise) for the incident, another false assumption that he was somehow responsible for it.
“Well, today was certainly a bittersweet day. And, candidly, I’m bitter,” she told “Deadline” host Nicolle Wallace, a once-sane member of George W. Bush’s administration before her mind went “rogue” as well. “I mean, I’m bitter that a higher political price wasn’t paid for what Donald Trump did on January 6. Something is broken and we need to acknowledge that. And the other thing we have to keep front of mind, Nicolle, is that Donald Trump didn’t win 50 percent of the votes.
“This is an evenly divided country. It’s about half and half. And a chunk of those folks that voted for Donald Trump ignored everything except the fact they don’t like the status quo. The anti-incumbency thing was real. It’s real all over the world. The hangover from Covid and the inflation and the pain that people felt, and frankly, a lot of the immigration patterns around the world have made people feel like things are out of control, and they didn’t want the status quo. They didn’t want somebody who was close to an incumbent, if not seen as an incumbent. That doesn’t mean they buy into everything Donald Trump represents,” she claimed.
“We cannot tune out. We have to tune in. 50% of the country agrees with us. 50% of the country doesn’t want this,” she falsely claimed, since more than 50 percent of the country voted for Trump and Republicans. “So there’s work to do here, and you know, together we are going do it. Others on this network are going to do it, but the people in this country have to decide that they don’t quit fighting just because Donald Trump won the Electoral College and that’s what Kamala Harris represented today, and she did it with a smile on her face. I couldn’t be prouder of her.”
What McCaskill really means is, “We have to find another way to fool people into thinking Democrats are politically moderate patriots who really care about people and their struggles more than we care about destroying the culture with woke BS like pushing kids to mutilate their bodies under the guise of ‘gender confusion’ and taxing everyone to death with inflationary policies.”
