President Joe Biden is set to award Presidential Medals of Freedom to Hillary Clinton and George Soros during a ceremony on Saturday. In a press release, the White House announced that Clinton and Soros are among the 19 recipients of the medal, the nation’s highest civilian honor.
According to their statement, Clinton and Soros were chosen for having “made exemplary contributions to the prosperity, values, or security of the United States, world peace, or other significant societal, public or private endeavors.” It continued, “President Biden believes great leaders keep the faith, give everyone a fair shot, and put decency above all else.” It added: “These nineteen individuals are great leaders who have made America and the world a better place.”

The statement continued: Secretary Clinton made history many times over decades in public service, including as the first First Lady elected to the United States Senate. After serving as Secretary of State, she became the first woman nominated for president by a major United States political party. George Soros is an investor, philanthropist, and founder of the Open Society Foundations. Through his network of foundations, partners and projects in more than 120 countries, Soros has focused on global initiatives that strengthen democracy, human rights, education, and social justice.
Clinton, for years, was one of the original Democratic election deniers, claiming for years after President Trump beat her in 2016 that his victory was “illegitimate.” Among the most recent outrages committed against American society by Soros, meanwhile, include the financial backing of communist-leaning district attorney candidates who, once in office, worked overtime to avoid sending violent criminals to jail under the guise of “criminal justice reform.” The results have been predictable: Catastrophic rises in crime and death in the cities where Soros DAs serve, though several have since been voted out of office in recent elections.
Other honorees include singer Bono, Argentine soccer star Lionel Messi, and the late former Attorney General and presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy. The announcement follows President Biden’s decision to award the Presidential Citizens Medal, the nation’s second-highest civilian honor, to former Congresswoman Liz Cheney, who was recognized for her role in pursuing accountability for Donald Trump and his supporters following the January 6th protests.
