President-elect Donald Trump, just hours after extending Thanksgiving wishes to everyone, including “Radical Left Lunatics,” shared a “Christmas Vacation” parody video featuring the faces of prominent Democrats superimposed onto the iconic dinner scene from the holiday classic.
The video, posted on Trump’s Truth Social page Thursday evening, reimagines Chevy Chase’s character, Clark Griswold, as President Joe Biden. In the clip, Biden’s Griswold cuts into the notoriously dry turkey while delivering the line, “If this turkey tastes half as good as it looks, I think we’re all in for a very big treat,” according to The New York Post. The table is filled with familiar figures, including California Rep. Adam Schiff—now Senator-elect—portrayed as Cousin Eddie, humorously requesting, “Save the neck for me.” Vice President Kamala Harris is depicted as Eddie’s wife, Catherine, laughing in her signature style. “OK, Adam,” Biden’s voice replies.
The video continues with First Lady Jill Biden depicted as Beverly D’Angelo’s Ellen Griswold, while outgoing Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., is seated next to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., who sips from a glass of wine.
As the dried-out turkey collapses, Trump appears, breaking into his signature dance moves to the Village People’s “YMCA,” one of his iconic campaign rally songs. Rounding out the dinner scene are Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar and fellow “Squad” member Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., also seated at the table.

Earlier in the day, Trump wished a “Happy Thanksgiving” to everyone, “including to the Radical Left Lunatics who have worked so hard to destroy our Country, but who have miserably failed, and will always fail, because their ideas and policies are so hopelessly bad that the great people of our Nation just gave a landslide victory to those who want to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! Don’t worry, our Country will soon be respected, productive, fair, and strong, and you will be, more than ever before, proud to be an American!”
The well-wishes came after Trump spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt posted a chilling message on Wednesday, revealing that members of Trump’s transition team were targeted with “violent, unAmerican threats to their lives” and leaving open the possibility that direct actions could follow. Leavitt, who was announced this month as the youngest White House press secretary in history, made headlines with her statement, acknowledging that death threats are being considered as part of the team’s preparations for returning to power.
“Last night and this morning, several of President Trump’s Cabinet nominees and Administration appointees were targeted in violent, unAmerican threats to their lives and those who live with them,” Leavitt said in the statement. “These attacks ranged from bomb threats to ‘swatting.’ In response, law enforcement and other authorities acted quickly to ensure the safety of those who were targeted. President Trump and the entire Transition team are grateful for their swift action.” She concluded: “President Trump and the Transition are focused on doing the work of uniting our nation by ensuring a safe and prosperous future. With President Trump as our example, dangerous acts of intimidation and violence will not deter us.”
