Political commentator Tucker Carlson energized the crowd Wednesday at a rally for former President Donald Trump in Duluth, Georgia, warning Democrats that “dad” is coming home. Carlson delivered a passionate critique of the Democratic Party, telling Trump supporters that they represent the American majority, not a despised minority. He also took aim at anti-American issues supported by Vice President Kamala Harris.
He criticized Democrats who advocate for tearing down statues and permitting illegal migrants to enter the U.S., both of which Harris has supported in the past, asserting that the majority of Americans will no longer tolerate such actions. “They went out of their way to humiliate and spit on you and the graves of your ancestors,” a fiery Carlson said in his speech. Carlson compared Trump to a father returning home from work, suggesting that if he wins the 2024 election, he would give the Biden-Harris administration a “spanking.”
“If you allow your hormone-addled 15-year-old daughter to, like, slam the door of her bedroom and give you the finger, you’re gonna get more of it. And those kids are gonna end up in rehab!” Carlson explained. “It’s not good for you and it’s not good for them.” As the crowd erupted in a standing ovation, Carlson added: “There has to be a point at which dad comes home. Yeah, that’s right! Dad comes home. And he’s pissed!”
Carlson stated that while “dad” is not angry and still loves his children, he is deeply disappointed in them and feels the need to make that clear. “And when dad gets home, you know what he says? ‘You’ve been a bad girl. You’ve been a bad little girl and you’re getting a vigorous spanking,’” Carlson said. He added that “normal” Americans are on the side of Trump, while envious and hateful “weirdos” prop up “the Democratic machine.”
“To allow millions of people, mostly young men with no skills and no English, into our country illegally and then fly them around at our expense and give them phones and put them on welfare programs that American citizen can get. It is the most insulting-” Carson said, causing the audience to boo the Biden-Harris administration’s role in the border crisis. “Yeah, boo. But it’s worse than boo,” he continued. “It’s the biggest crime in the history of the United States of America.”
