Former First Lady Melania Trump has achieved a notable career milestone, demonstrating that it’s not only her husband and the Trump children who have enhanced their brands following their time in the White House.
According to The Daily Mail, Melania’s upcoming memoir, simply titled Melania, has already set records and topped pre-order lists ahead of its October 1 release. The memoir, which recounts her initial meeting with former President Donald Trump, has captivated readers with its insights into her personal life. Currently, Melania is leading Amazon’s “Political Leader Biographies” category and is ranked No. 2 in the broader “Biographies” category. Overall, it holds the No. 5 spot among all books, an impressive achievement for a work that has yet to be officially released.
During the promotion of “Melania,” the former first lady talked about how the process of looking back on her life well lived has been “filled with emotional highs and lows.” She told Fox News, “Writing my memoir has been an amazing journey. Each story shaped me into who I am today.” The book blurbs provide a comprehensive glimpse into her journey of growing up in Slovenia, her pursuit of a modeling career, global travels, and eventual attainment of American citizenship. One chapter will include “pivotal moments that led her to the world of high fashion in Europe and New York, and the serendipitous meeting with Donald Trump, a chance encounter that forever changed the course of her life.”
Elsewhere, Melania promises to open up about “the joy of motherhood” and share “behind-the-scenes stories from her time in the White House, shedding light on her advocacy work and the causes close to her heart.” Former President Trump, her husband since 2005, is a vocal proponent of his wife’s penmanship. “If you love our former First Lady as much as me, and are ready for the Truth, buy her new book now!” he wrote in a promotional post on Truth Social.
Early purchasers will have the opportunity to buy special editions of Melania, including a signed collector’s edition priced at $150, featuring 256 pages in full color, as well as a half-colored version that will also be signed. Her memoir is set to be released by Skyhorse Publishing.
