Former President Donald Trump will feature a video at his rally in Minnesota on Saturday, attacking Vice President Kamala Harris for her involvement in actively fundraising for the Minnesota Freedom Fund (MFF). This organization has been criticized for bailing out serious criminals so they could be released back into society, especially during the Black Lives Matter riots of 2o20.
The Daily Caller first obtained a copy of the video, set to be unveiled at Trump’s rally in St. Cloud. The video meticulously showcases several criminals who received bailouts from the Minnesota Freedom Fund, with media coverage further exposing Harris’s support for it. This has since become a persistent issue for her, as Americans are increasingly worried about rising violent crime rates.
Harris’s backing for the MFF remains active on Act Blue, the Democratic Party’s online fundraising platform, as of Saturday, promoting donations to the bail fund with a photo of her face. Her Twitter and Facebook pages also share the link. The Daily Caller News Foundation initially reported that the MFF bailed out six men accused of domestic violence, a man accused of sexually assaulting a child, and a man who allegedly stomped on his victim’s head.
The Caller added:
Harris has previously shown her support for the defund the police movement and her current communications director, Brian Fallon, tweeted “defund the police” in 2020. Meanwhile, the Harris campaign has been pushing the “prosecutor vs felon” narrative as a dig at Trump. Recent polling shows crime is a top issue for voters and the defund the police movement has constantly polled poorly amongst voters across the country.
The video showcases several criminals, including Donovan Boone, who was accused of breaking into his ex-girlfriend’s home and suffocating her. Other individuals featured are Christopher Boswell, a repeat offender convicted of rape in 2020, and Darnika Floyd, who faced charges of second-degree murder following a fatal stabbing of a man who declined her advances. Thomas Moseley was arrested for vandalizing a police station, facing drug and rioting charges, while Shawn Tillman was responsible for the murder of a passenger at a train station in St. Paul, Minnesota, moments after his release.
“At today’s rally in Minnesota, President Trump will set the record straight on dangerously liberal Kamala Harris’ long history of supporting soft on crime policies, like defunding the police, that have made our cities and neighborhoods less safe. Harris encouraged donations to the Minnesota Freedom Fund, which bailed now-convicted murderers and rapists out of jail and put them back on our streets to commit more heinous crimes,” Trump Campaign National Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told the Caller. “Kamala and the mainstream media can try to rewrite history, but President Trump will make sure Minnesotans and all Americans know the truth — Harris is a pro-criminal extremist,” Leavitt added.

A noted conservative legal group led by former Trump administration officials, meanwhile, launched a series of investigations into Harris this week after she was essentially anointed the 2024 Democratic Party nominee after President Joe Biden quit his reelection bid earlier this week.
Kamala Harris’ history of controversial legal actions while she served as the attorney general of California is coming back into the spotlight as her campaign for the presidency gains momentum. From arresting parents whose kids frequently skipped school to backing a bail fund that released dangerous Black Lives Matter protesters from prison in 2020, Harris’ methods in dealing with criminal matters are being closely examined again, Fox News reported on Thursday.
America First Legal (AFL), a nonprofit conservative legal watchdog group, launched seven investigations into Harris’ prosecutorial background on Thursday afternoon. The group alleges that Harris “has proven to be the most radically progressive Vice President in American history.”
