Fox News star Sean Hannity has made a major announcement that will undoubtedly affect his career and personal life, according to a Tuesday report.
Just months after revealing his relocation from New York to Florida, Fox News personality Sean Hannity is listing his expansive Long Island property for $13.75 million. Back in January, Hannity disclosed that he would begin recording both his radio show, “The Sean Hannity Show,” and his television program, “Hannity,” from studios located in West Palm Beach, The Wall Street Journal reported.
“We are now beginning our first broadcast from my new home and that is in the free state of Florida,” the host said on his iHeartRadio show. “I am out. I am done. I’m finished.” A Fox spokesperson declined to provide a comment on behalf of Hannity, the WSJ said.
A waterfront property on Centre Island was purchased by a limited liability company linked to Hannity for $8.5 million in 2008. The property covers nearly 6 acres and is located roughly 40 miles east of Midtown Manhattan, said the outlet.
Celebrities like Billy Joel have been attracted to the area, with his home previously listed for $49 million last year. However, the property has since been removed from the market as Joel undertakes some renovations, according to the former listing agent, Bonnie Williamson of Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty.
“Hannity’s approximately 11,000-square-foot, seven-bedroom estate has a roughly 80-foot private dock on Oyster Bay, according to the listing. The gated grounds contain a swimming pool, a tennis court, a par-3 golf course and a separate putting green,” the WSJ noted. The house features a classic facade made of stone and shingles. The formal living and dining areas offer stunning views of the bay, while the bar area boasts cabinetry in a deep blue hue.
According to property records, Hannity bought a $5.3 million condo in Palm Beach in 2021. On his show, he has expressed that his beliefs resonate more with the political landscape in Florida. “Finally, for the first time that I can think of in my adult life, I actually have representatives in the state that I’m living in that share my values,” he said on the radio show.
Palm Beach, known for former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago compound, has served as a hub for political events and fundraising within the Republican Party. Recently, Fox News anchor Bret Baier moved there from Washington, D.C. Additionally, the Palm Beach residence of the late conservative commentator Rush Limbaugh was sold last year for $155 million.
