Former President Donald Trump caught a massive break in a federal court in Florida on Monday when the judge overseeing his classified documents case, Aileen Cannon, tossed out a couple of charges filed by special prosecutor Jack Smith.

But Trump’s legal fortunes in Florida are about to be overshadowed by a case just across the Florida state line.
Making the rounds on Sunday talk shows, Alina Habba, the attorney for Save America PAC, expressed her expectation that former President Donald Trump will face his fourth indictment in the upcoming weeks in Georgia, Newsmax reported.
The ongoing investigation leading to the potential fourth indictment against the former president stems from a phone call Trump had with Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger in January 2021. The call was related to a dispute over the counting of votes.
“Are you expecting an indictment in the coming two or three weeks from Georgia?” Maria Bartiromo asked Habba on “Sunday Morning Futures.”
“Yes,” Habba responded. “I think that it’s been highly spoken about. I think if you look at the barricades, the fact that [Fulton County Democrat District Attorney Fani Willis] got her PR team doing fresh pictures for her, it’s a good indicator that Fani wants her moment.
“And she will … get on the bandwagon with the rest of the corrupt DAs and AGs that we have seen out of this country,” Habba noted further.
Last week, Willis declared that her team’s work had reached a point where they were “ready to go,” indicating their preparedness to move forward with an indictment.
Habba’s remarks on Sunday, as reported by The Hill, noted that Trump’s statements subsequent to pleading not guilty to four federal charges related to his alleged actions suggest he, too, is anticipating the possibility of a fourth indictment.
“This is not America,” Habba added. “This is not how you fight your political opponents because you can’t win on issues and you can’t win on policies. Your borders are going to hell.
“We have drugs and a pandemic,” she said. “I mean, it’s a mess. Our country is a mess. So what do they do? They arrest Trump over and over again to distract you from the corruption that’s happening inside the Biden administration and the policies that they can’t win on.”
